Use the following route based on the question:

  • For a booking record or photograph, use the home-page request guide and submit a narrow request to the county or arresting police department.
  • For possible warrant status, use Sheriff's Most Wanted, then verify through the Clerk or Sheriff.
  • For a recent arrest, release status, or absent public roster, follow the county booking and records fallback on the home page.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Illinois Department of Corrections Individual in Custody Search.
  • For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator; for immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator.
  • For a later charge or disposition, contact the Vermilion County Circuit Clerk rather than relying on a booking lead.
  • For visitation, follow the Sheriff's Securus instructions. A visitation account is not a custody search.
